About

I'm Taylor — an illustrator working between picture book art, symbolic illustration, and visionary work. I trained at the School of Visual Arts, where I earned a BFA in Illustration in 2024.

My work is drawn to tenderness, wonder, and the inner life. I make images about quiet rooms, small lights in dark forests, and the kind of in-between feelings that don't always have words. I think a picture book and a tarot card and a hand-painted icon all come from the same place — the place where a feeling decides it wants to become an image.

I work in watercolor, ink, gouache, and digital tools (mostly Procreate and Photoshop), and I love a long collaboration with an author or a client who knows what they want to feel but isn't sure what they want to see yet.

I take a small number of picture book and commission projects each year, and I'm always open to hearing about something that wants to be illustrated.
